Tour de France standings: the results after stage 20

The latest standings from the 109th edition of the Tour de France

Tour de France

Stage 20 of the 2022 Tour de France was race against the clock and it was, once again, Wout van Aert of Jumbo-Visma who took victory – his third stage win of this year's race. The Belgian's closest challenger was his teammate and yellow jersey wearer Jonas Vingegaard who finished 19 seconds behind Van Aert to secure second place on the stage and the overall general classification.

Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) finished in third place today, with Geraint Thomas (Ineos Grenadiers) in fourth. This means the top-three in the GC stay the same going in to tomorrow's final flat stage in Paris. Aleksandr Vlasov (BORA-Hansgrohe) had a good ITT and moved up two places overall. Nairo Qunitana  (Arkéa-Samsic) moved down to sixth place overall while Romain Bardet (Team DSM ) leapfrogged Louis Meintjes (Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux) to put himself in seventh on GC.
