Desire: S-Works – Meet SRAM RED eTap AXS

Desire: S-Works – Meet SRAM RED eTap AXS

Hot on the heels of Campagnolo, SRAM launch RED eTap AXS 12-speed – the future of the bicycle drivetrain just landed.

It isn’t an overstatement to suggest that SRAM’s former flagship groupset, the original RED eTap, revolutionised road gearing systems four years previously with truly wireless shifting. Skip forward and the same could be true once again, with new gear ratios, new technologies and a new radical look.

SRAM have certainly jumped into the 12-speed market with both feet, and Specialized, among others, have given their superbikes a shiny wireless upgrade to mark the occasion.

Rouleur Desire takes a peek at the tasty new S-Works Venge and Tarmac colours and the newest contender to enter the groupset arms race: SRAM RED eTap AXS™

SRAM’s list of technologies, patents and improvements could fill an issue of Rouleur on their own. To read the full story click here
